How to Insert a YouTube video on my Hotmail message

Hotmail allow us to insert a youTube video on our own messages so you can share them with your contacts.

The process is very simple:

1. start your Hotmail account

2. go to the inbox

3. click on ¨New¨ to create a new message

4. On the insert files bar you can see an option named ¨From Bing¨. Click on it and on the menu go to ¨Videos¨.

5. A Bing´s browser will appear on the right side of the screen where you can find a YouTube video.

6. Once you find it, just click on ¨Insert¨, and you will attach a YouTube video to your message, ready to be clicked by the receiver with no problems.

How to setup ringtones on Windows Phone

If you have Windows Phone you can modify your calling tones so you can personalize your contacts.

You can know who is calling by the ringtone you previously set up.

How to Change contact ringtone:

Click on ¨Start¨ and go to ¨Contacts¨. Select ¨All¨and then choose the contact you want to modify the ringtone. Click on ¨Edit¨ and then on ¨Tone¨.

Now you don´t have to choose the new tone to asign to the contact.

How to Change any other ringtone or alert:

Go to ¨Start¨ and then to ¨App¨. Enter to ¨Set up¨ and then to ¨ringtones and sounds¨. Select your alert tone to be programed by default.

Every contact that is not marked with a ringtone will start to use this one.

Use volume buttons to silence the device:

Click on the sound buttons and when the bell symbol appears on screen click on it and it will be silenced. Vibration mode will be activated in case of selecting.

Modify the tone and vibration:

Access to ¨Start¨and go to ¨App¨. Click on ¨Set up¨, and then on ¨Tones and sounds¨

You can setup the vibration or not to be activated in case the sound is blocked.

Hotmail doesn´t work on Firefox. Steps to follow

If you are a Mozilla Firefox user and when you enter Hotmail it doesn´t work on this browser, or can´t access to your Hotmail account , just follow these steps:

Before the tutorial, remember that it is possible that you may just updated your Firefox version and there´s a kind of uncompatibility to with your pc config.

Here´s what you should do:

1. Restart your pc. Update your plugins and check that everything Works properly. If the problem still is there, go to the safe start of Firefox menu.

2. If step 1 didn´t work out, start a complete clean of your system using programs like CCleaner.

3. If it doesn´t solve it yet, the problem may be on the firewall. Disable Windows Firewall and close for a while your antispam to prove that everything works properly. If this is situation happens, contact tech service or read your antispam manual to solve the problem.

If you still have the problem, best thing to do is download the lattest Firefox version and delete the current you have. Don´t forget to make a backup of your markers so you don´t lose anything.

How to Print mails from Hotmail

It is very common we receive mails on our Hotmail account and need to take information in paper to check it out even when we didn´t start a Hotmail session.

This is how you can do it with no need to go to your Hotmail account:

1. Start Hotmail session and enter on Hotmail inbox. Select the mail you want to print (from Hotmail inbox or sent mails), and watch the upper bar of the menu where you have to click on the printer that appears.

Error 102 when I try to open Hotmail

Sometimes it can happen when you try to open Hotmail, that an error message is displayed. This 102 Error means that the Server has refused the conection.

For that reason, Error 102 stands for that the web page is not available. This error message and Hotmail problema can be solved with a firewall block or by using an installed antispam.

To solve error 102 you can try:

1. Add the browser as an allowed program of the antivirus or firewall setup.

2. Use a Proxy Server. You can access through the Tools menu-Options- Advanced- Change the Proxy setup- Lan Setup, and disable the check out Proxy secure for LAN.

3. Try from another browser, example if you use Chrome, try using Internet Explorer or Firefox

4. Clean the files PC and entry register that are not necessary. Download ccleaner. When you install it, choose analyse and then run cleaner. After that go to registry and there you fill find the option scan for issues. Wait and then click on fix select issues.

It can also happen that the error message looks like Error 102 (net::ERR CONNECTIN REFUSED). The Server has refused connection.
